Sadly
we must announce the sudden demise of Laurence Trembath. Many knew him from his
avid support of the Pirates, and as a steward.
Laurence was a character
of Penzance who marched to the beat of his own drum. With an endless supply of
bad jokes, tall stories and cider his lanky frame will be missed come the start
of the season.
Always
fretting when a Pirates home game clashed with the bass running, it was usually
the Pirates that received his support.
He leaves behind him Sue his wife
and Merlin his deer hound.
The funeral will be at Gulval Church, 2pm Wednesday
20th August.
